strange climate

One more week and it will be December. Yet, the temperature is going up to 70s in midday, people are wearing summer clothes, and the air-conditioning is set to cooler, not warmer, at this time of the year!? I personally prefer warmer climate, but this is very strange! November in Texas is usually chilly, the temperature can go as low as 30s at night, and a winter jacket is needed to stay warm. What's going on? I don't really like this.
